Started with the bacon wrapped sausage stuffed medjool dates for an appetizer. These are worth the trip by themselves. I then had the French onion soup, which was very good. For my entree, I had the 6 ounce filet mignon wrapped in bacon. The filet was tender, delicious, and cooked to perfection. There are several add-on options, so I opted for the shrimp scampi to make it surf n turf. The shrimp were a great complement to the filet. To finish such a great meal I had to have dessert. The amaretto cake was the perfect choice. It has layers of mousse and cake topped with whipped cream. Love this place! Improvements and innovations made during COVID restrictions were thoughtful, tasteful, and make a great dining experience even greater. Owners are delightful and take pride in their restaurant's food, service and ambiance. Always a pleasure to come to The Old Mill Restaurant!
