While we felt like outcasts and were constantly stared at by strangers, everyone was oddly nice and on our way out the door they welcomed us back in the future. We had been wanting to check this bar out for a while and since we had some time to spare before our movie, we thought "why the heck not"!? We were really hungry and come to find out, Nik-N-Willies is right next door so we ordered a couple slices of pepperoni pizza and a salad and were able to bring it into the bar with us. We sat right down at a couple of stools at the bar just as some folks were leaving and had ourselves a grand ol' time playing nickels and what not.The bartender was very friendly and seemed to know everyone by name. On a Friday night this bar was packed with regulars, from what we could tell. There were two pool tables, a jukebox, AND free popcorn. If anyone knows me, they know I'm a huge fan of FREE + buttered popcorn. They also had a random bowl filled with nacho cheese Doritos, random, but good!The Ole Tyme Saloon is not so much a dive bar as it is your regular neighborhood bar. I highly recommend stopping in for a cheap beer if you have some time. Any bar that has the word 'Saloon' in its name is always a great time!
