Lovely spot for a break. We had a tea and coffee with scotch in the afternoon but would definitely return for a wine in the evening.

Staff lovely , wine expensive but superb. Lasagne awful. (If you want authentic Italian ‘home-made’ lasagne , do not order it here. They do not provide a bechamel’s sauce , just strong mustard instead . It is a father/son business ; when I politely asked why there was no bechmel’s sauce between the layers, the son said that his father is not Italian and prefers to give his own twist on the dish and uses mustard instead . The only part of the lasagne which ‘looks’ like bechamels sauce is the top of it , however the mustard taste overpowers it . I used to live in Italy and if this was served in a restaurant , it would be sent back as it’s not Lasagne . Tasted awful . So disappointed . On a positive note , the variety of wine is superb . (Expensive , but exemplary .). Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £80–90

I had a fantastic experience at One20 Wine Cafe in Edinburgh. The service was outstanding—attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I ordered a flat white, tea, and a pain au chocolat, all of which were excellent. They also brought water without me having to ask, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!
