It's rare to come across a restaurant that combines excellent food, genuinely friendly service, and an upscale setting so well. I’ve eaten here more than 50 times, and the consistency is remarkable. Their lunch menu changes weekly and offers excellent value for money. The food is always prepared with very fresh ingredients, and the entire staff is welcoming, attentive, friendly, and consistently in good spirits. They always seem genuinely happy to help. The atmosphere is upscale without feeling overly formal. Their weekend breakfasts are also excellent, with plenty of options and very good value for money. I also appreciate how they regularly change things up depending on the season and different holidays. Sitting outside is lovely when the weather allows, while the interior always has a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere and is particularly well suited for business meetings. For me, this place has become a small oasis in the middle of a busy day. Martin and Sascha went absolutely above and beyond to make sure we not only had a fantastic meal, but a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, their hospitality was exceptional. They both did far more than they ever needed to, and the level of care and attention they gave us genuinely made us feel like royalty. It’s rare to come across people who take such genuine pride in making their guests feel special. And the food was simply outstanding — without a doubt, the best we’ve had in the area. Every part of the experience was exceptional, but it was Martin and Sascha’s warmth, generosity, and incredible hospitality that truly made the evening. Honestly, I can’t put into words just how good they were. They didn’t just serve us a meal; they created an experience we’ll remember for a long time. An absolute credit to the restaurant — we can’t wait to come back.

We had a reservation for Friday night. After we kindly asked for a linen tablecloth we were told that they don't have any tablecloth for the round tables. The waitress had the charm of a steel factory. The food was quite good, we had crispy duck salad as a starter and Coq au Vin as a main course. The main course arrived while the finished starter was still on the table. The waitress leaves the remaining course somewhere on the table and cleans up the starter. It's a real shame, that an excellent chef is massively let down by a disastrous service.
