After a long walk around Universitatsbibliothek Freiburg, go to this bar and have a rest here. Most users state that the staff is good. Terrific service is something visitors appreciate here. As many guests affirm, the atmosphere is quiet. But Othello Bar has been rated below average by Google.

No recommendation. All the guys were very presumptuous towards women . We were just stared at and danced at the entire time and a "no" was hardly accepted... In addition, we experienced many disturbing approaches and had to witness intimate moments. We then left due to great discomfort. So the evening was over. Never again!!! And no recommendation for any friends either... Price per person: €1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The bar itself was okay for a visit to Freiburg. There is a cloakroom, but without supervision. My jacket was missing at the end of the evening. I haven't been able to reach anyone by phone or email to find out whether it has reappeared or been left behind, so there is practically no way of getting it back if you don't live nearby. An acquaintance's jacket was also stolen there. Apparently it happens more often. Too bad, won't come again.
