Visited Pak Darbar Restaurant with expectations of authentic Pakistani flavors. Overall experience was underwhelming and felt a bit overhyped. We ordered the mutton Lahori karahi with desi ghee, which was actually good and probably the highlight of the meal. However, the chicken makhni handi was below average in both flavor and richness. The chapli kebab also did not meet expectations and felt quite average compared to what you can find elsewhere. The beef Bannu pulao was acceptable but nothing special—you can easily find better versions of it in the city. Overall, there was no real “wow” factor in any of the dishes except the karahi. Another downside was the parking situation, which is quite inconvenient. In summary, it’s an average dining experience with one or two decent dishes, but not worth the hype. Best Pakistani food place in town. All the meat they use is also fresh (not frozen). They have all veg and non veg options as well. Try the Qarahis and Bannu Pulao. Also they have expanded the family area so the seating is very good. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: OMR 0–2 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. The food quality is outstanding, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and respectful, making the whole experience even more pleasant. The ambiance is fantastic, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the level of quality and service provided. Overall, it’s a perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: OMR 2–4
