Today I stopped by Pal Man, which is located on the third floor, and honestly, I was really impressed. My brother and I had been at a sauna and decided to stop in afterward to get some khinkali. I didn’t even know they made khinkali here. I only had $20 in my wallet. The khinkali were $16.99, and my brother also wanted some kvass. I told him, “That’s not going to work, we don’t have enough cash.” At that moment, a man who I didn’t know was the owner brought us some kvass. Then he brought us a wafer cake, pickles, and even let us try his special — cabbage rolls with mushroom gravy. Honestly, I was really surprised by how welcoming and generous he was. We came in just to eat some khinkali, but they treated us like we were old friends. And most importantly — everything was delicious! Thank you for the amazing hospitality! Checked out this spot above the Palace Spa (up the stairs) as I hadn't had Ukrainian food at a restaurant before. The restaurant was clean, had fun pop music, and a comfortable space. We met Andy and he was attentive, helpful, and patient while taking our orders. He helped explain certain dishes and what to expect, helping to describe the Ukrainian drinks we've never had before (the in alcoholic dark rhye beverage was delicious - tasted a little like bread and root beer), and even gave us samples of his secret spicy sauce he has made on his own (it has a good kick while still tasting delicious). The food was delicious, Andy was very nice, and it's a spot I would definitely visit again for authentic Ukrainian food. Seriously, try it out, you won't be disappointed. very tasty everything is fresh. the owner is a very nice person. while we were waiting for the order he treated us to a very tasty compliment. everything was very tasty his buns which he bakes himself were very, very tasty. the impressions remained pleasant and we will come back again.
