This is a cute little restaurant. My husband and I went there for breakfast and enjoyed the food. It was all very delicious aside from the pancakes which didn't have much flavor. I tend to eat my pancakes with just butter but these I needed syrup for to add flavor. (A little vanilla or buttermilk would have gone a long way) Meal type: Breakfast

Jessie, it sounds like you and your husband had a great breakfast overall—so glad you enjoyed the food at Village Inn. I’m sorry the pancakes fell a bit flat for you; we’ll keep your notes about adding a touch of vanilla or buttermilk in mind as we work on flavors. Hope to see you back again soon!

I came here with my family of 6 and 2 kids. It got busy quick as we entered and they seemed short staffed, but they handled the entering and exiting guests pleasantly and professionally. Our waitress Brisa was awesome. She took our order promptly, and made sure we had everything when she brought out our food. She frequently apologized for the frequency of service, but we didn’t think it was a problem. We could tell the waiters were short-staffed, but Brisa powered through it and we had a great brunch. Food was delicious and the helpings were larger than we expected. Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ben, you had a full house of six (plus two kids) and still managed to get a smooth, friendly brunch—that says a lot. We’re really glad Village Inn handled the busy rush with professionalism, and that Brisa made such a positive impression by getting your order in quickly and keeping everything covered. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with the team. Hope to see you and your family again soon!
