I always stop here to get a quick drink and snack. Some people plan a whole night around this place. Usually friendly and has good drinks. Sometimes can be loud, sometimes it can be crowded.

Today Jen & I headed to Virginia City to check it out and would say we had a great time visiting the town and the main drag with all the shops, would have to say we enjoyed it much more the Old Tombstone in Arizona as that's were we are from. Well lunch time it was so decided to try out The Place Restaurant & Saloon as we did see a good crowd of people going in and out, we waited for about 10min and was seated as they were busy, Jen ordered the Fish & Chips and I ordered a cup of their Chili. ( we shared our lunch as we had other plans for a bigger dinner ) you could tell the fish wasn't fresh probably pre-packaged frozen, the chili was good kinda reminded me of Wendy's Chili. I did look around at other dishes that were served and they looked appetizing so with that I'd try something else other then the Fish & Chips if your visiting Virginia City's The Palace Restaurant & Saloon.
