That's a good idea to order tasty salona and perfectly cooked galettes. Good ice cream deserves ordering. The success of this confectionary restaurant would be impossible without the creative staff.

I was looking for a pâtisserie close to my hostel (Slo Living Hostel) and I found this place right around the corner. Lyon has been very good to me, food wise, and this was no different. I tried a mille-feuille and a Paris-Brest here. The mille-feuille's layers were beautifully crispy, and the cream inside was delicious. Simply executed, but absolutely divine. The Paris-Brest had such a vibrant flavor that I've never tasted before; Lyon is known for its pralines and the praline cream inside each of the choux pastries was just... unbelievable. I'm sure this isn't the best pastry shop in Lyon... but the Paris-Brest I've had here will be my personal benchmark for the forseeable future.

As with many patisseries a Lyon, this one nailed the presentation. Beautiful desserts. I got this dark chocolate-covered cake-like thing with a chocolate ganache filling in the middle. Supper tasty. Perfectly dense and not dry at all. Why no 5 star? I guess it just wasn't "off the chain" somehow. There are a lot of these shops in Lyon. They can't all be exceptional, can they?

Des couleurs, des saveurs, de la technique et des papilles ravies. Son prédécesseur (Lafay) peut être fier de la relève. Une équipe s'active la nuit pour réaliser des petites merveilles pour des desserts traditionnels ou innovants. Le coin chocolaterie n'est pas en reste. On doit également MR Pépin d'avoir créé le premier "lumignon" en chocolat en rapport aux lumignons du 8 décembre (fête des lumières). Salon de thé pour une consommation sur place.
