We ate at the Pen Factory recently and it was truly phenomenal. The food quality and presentation were superb - we got the Scouse and would 11/10 recommend. Every food detail from the starters to our dessert was extremely well done. The only reason I put four stars for service is that we waited a little bit before anyone greeted us, but the wait staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The kitchen is spotless and the team clearly puts an immense amount of effort into ensuring a quality environment. Eat here if you’re looking for food that speaks for itself and an escape from typical touristy spots in the city centre! We will be back! I have always liked this place, ever since it opened, staff, ambiance, atmosphere, beer all good, the food was once good, in terms of quality it still is, but, it does not represent anything neat value to money, £9 for barely two mouth dulls of pig cheek and celeriac, your having a laugh, it's you with the cheek!
