I remembered coming here 20 years ago as a child and I haven't been here since. I was visiting LA last week and I knew I had to stop here for some almond cookies. They taste just as good as I remembered it 20 years ago. I bought some to take back home to the SF Bay Area for my family and they loved it! They also haven't had the almond cookies in 20 years. I also got a slice of the famous strawberry cake. It was delicious, light, fluffy and not too sweet. The lady who helped me behind the counter was so sweet and kind. I will definitely be back here next time I'm visiting LA.

The cakes are amazing moist very very fresh The cake that they is light an airy it's on par with the whipped cream it's served with I had tiramisu as well and it is drenched in coffee to the point to where it is the most decadent thing ever I would highly highly suggest getting some of each and they also make in-house almond cookies fresh so yeah I highly suggest coming here great place to go Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Strawberry Cake Slice & Phoenix Bakery Label
