After a long walk around Zetland Lifeboat Museum and Redcar Heritage Centre, come to this restaurant and have a rest here. British cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is wonderful at this place. Most likely, you'll come back to Pier Vista later to order good tea. Guests don't like battered sausages at this place.
This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. A number of reviewers find that the dishes have low prices. Clients appreciate the exotic atmosphere at this restaurant, they want to come here again and again. But Pier Vista has been rated below average by Google.

I had the pleasure in visiting, even trying the fish & chips (as lunch) from the terrific pier vista chippy, on the day of our recent visit (saturday 25/07/2026) to redcar by train, From the moment I saw (even heard of this coastal yorkshire fish & chip shop), I had descended into what is indeed yet another wonderfully brilliantly uplifting British chippy-of-a-fish shop, one of the greatest & best(est) fish & chips I ever proudly tasted, The staff behind the counter (at pier vista fish& chip shop, redcar) were very friendly, helpful, and hardworking, they cooked/prepared the fish & chip lunch very VERY successfully, which I even recommend. I myself (along with my P.A.) would gladly revisit this coastal fish & chippy 'in-person' someday, even on another potential visit to redcar out there. Tip-TOP.... 30 out of 30. This is a really good place to eat the food is fantastic. But the service is shocking. We were stood in the line waiting to be served when the lad behind the counter finished serving the people in front of us and served the people behind us. When pointed out to him that we were before them made no attempt to apologies and just carried on serving them. So I was not very happy and this is why I give a bad review of the service. When you look forward to a Friday Fish & Chips day, go to Seabreeze in Redcar & the Q is huge, get the food, Chips nice, peas OK but the fish that costs more than steak these days was WANK - absolutely shite. Keep giving Seabreeze a chance in the hope they'd be as nice as they once was, never again now Best chippie for me now is called Pier Vista in my opinion.
