I was in today with the family. Fair to say was close to closing time. (Thats on us. Should have timed it better) Ordered food and had to wait which was fine. Another lady came in. Got her order straight away while we were still waiting. She kept adding to it which again is fine. We finally got some of our order, but they missed my 9 year old sons off. I asked how long was the wait for it to get ignored because the woman that served us was too busy on mobile phone. Then got told that there wasn't any chips left for it. Save to say I wasn't happy and did kick off. What was worse is while we were sat waiting we could hear the staffs conversation about how many bags of chips they were taking home for themselves. Fuming isn't the word. They gave us a refund and offered me a sausage for him. Like that makes it ok. Customers should always come 1st. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The fish and chips here are top-notch! The fish has a perfectly crispy coating on the outside and is beautifully tender inside. The chips are golden, hand-cut, and just right—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff are super friendly and make you feel really welcome. If you're in Redcar and fancy a fish and chips that’ll make you smile wider than a seagull spotting a chip, The Little Chip is your place. I’ll definitely be back! unwrapping the paper to see a small shabby fish ( ment to be freshly cooked) looked like been sat under heat lamp for a while, until I tasted it, first taste I got was grease so I removed the horrid batter to taste the fish, tasteless utterly tasteless.
That fish was not fresh at all I could not eat it.

My husband's was the same said chips were nice, shame only received a few, but eat it as was hungry and we had spent 16 pounds on it, to what he wishes he hadn't
