The menu and the chef are Japanese, but don’t let that stop you. The chef is Italian-trained and makes some mean Italian specialties. In addition to the variety of Italian meats, he cooked a made-to-order spicy gnocchi with sausage that was out of this world delicious. We also had the shrimp with an anchovy cream sauce that was right on. And topped it with a very original pistachio gelato and a tiramisu. I’m so excited to have found this tiny place in an alley in Tokyo. Sorry chef Hiro-Shi, you are going to be getting a lot more foreigners (which is a good thing cause he and his staff treated us like kings).
