Yum! Thank you Raffaele for keeping it 100! The crust is actually crispy, airy and chewy the way a pizza crust ought to be. We loved Casa Azul’s location and service, and while the sauce and toppings were good there, the crust left us “hanging” where was the chew? And the crispiness? Okay so if you are hankering for a good crust, head to Raffaele’s to redeem your craving. I’m raised in DR so I ordered the Dominicana (ham corn and oregano) and this might take points off of my credibility, but I DID ask for ketchup to take a trip down memory lane — as a kid in Santiago, every pizzeria served their pizza with corn, ham and a bottle of ketchup — Anywho Raffaele said “No, we don’t have ketchup” when I asked and TBH, good! Okay! Keep it real and keep this legit crust coming. My only feedback, and this is only because of my NYC taste, I would have loved if the sauce was just a tad bit sweeter just a pinch. And oh, I might have gotten some stares as I ate my pizza with my hands. Half way through I realized everyone, including all the expats, were eating their pizza with a knife and fork. Not I! Im from NYC and we eat our pizzas folded and in-hand Lastly, come with cash! Cash only! Price per person: DOP 1,000–1,500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Pizzeria Raffaele is a place you can call home. Traditional, old school oven, outdoor cooking. Although the chairs are really upright and uncomfortable, your spirit is consoled by the choices of freshly baked, thin crusted LOVE. Each slice is confined with passion, pomodoro, cheese, and pure effort. Pizzeria Raffaele is a place that will take care of you after a tough day of work and other worldly misfortunes. As all things in life can be resolved through a good slice of pizza. Ciao bello. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely the best pizza in Las Terranas! The pizza came out of the oven in less than 5 minutes, perfectly done. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!
