I've been to Platform1 three times in the past three months. I love the concept and the ambience outside on the terrace/decking is great. But perhaps the obvious weaknesses lie in those two areas of strength... I can't imagine sitting inside would be at all comfortable given the limited space (I will find out next time), and the quality of the food varies with the chef....so the selling point of 'pop-up' becomes it's weakness. Service is good, efficient and friendly. Overall cost is highish...as ever depends on the wine and they do have a good wine list which a knowledgeable sommelier/maitre'd will remorselessly push, but that's what she is paid for.... All in all my impression so far is of a well run and entertaining restaurant serving good and sometimes very good food, albeit a tad expensive...especially if you don't get any samphire (that last comment for the boss..) I look forward to returning ....
