Se stai a girà pe’ Roma e te ritrovi dalle parti de Piazza Venezia, nun poi sbajatte: devi entrà ar Ristorante Plebiscito. Nun è solo ‘n ristorante… è proprio ‘n pezzo de anima romana, capito? Appena entri, te pijano li profumi… er Caffè Toraldo che te sveja pure l’anima, roba seria eh, mica ‘na cosetta così. E pure si te fermi solo pe’ ‘n caffettino, già stai a posto co’ la vita. E poi oh… la pizza “Il Rotino”… ma de che stamo a parlà?! Na cosa spettacolare, croccante, saporita… te fa dì “annamo bene!” ar primo morso. Te resta proprio dentro, come li ricordi belli. Ma er vero punto forte? So’ le persone. Qui nun sei ‘n cliente, sei ‘n ospite. Te tratteno co’ ‘n calore che oggi è raro, proprio de core. Pure uno che viene da lontano, che magari nun è italiano, qua se porta via ‘n ricordo che nun se scorda più. Perché se sente l’Italia vera, quella sincera. La cucina poi… mamma mia. Tutto fatto come se deve, grazie a ‘sto chef siciliano de Trapani che c’ha le mani d’oro. Ogni piatto parla, racconta, emoziona. E dentro è ‘na meraviglia: sale diverse, ognuna co’ ‘n’anima sua — dall’Ulivo alla Taverna — tutte belle, accoglienti, proprio come na Roma antica ma viva.
