Having seen Place des Jacobins, it's time to have a rest at this bar. Pléthore & Balthazar is famous for offering French cuisine. Serving good tapas, salads and rack of lamb is the hallmark of this place. Order tasty parfait, choux and soufflés. Get your meal started with delicious chardonnay, gin or champagne. You will be offered good coffee.
It's easy to find this spot due to the convenient location. Most people highlight that the staff is hospitable at this bar. Visitors mention that the service is prompt here. You will pay adequate prices for your meal. There is a lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor at Pléthore & Balthazar. But this place has been rated below average by Google.

I was a solo walk in a Monday evening. They were able to accommodate me and I had a nice meal. The slow cooked beef cheeks were amazing and an apple & cream dessert was lovely & light. They did operate with just two servers, so I can understand some of the reviews that speak negatively of the service, as they may need an extra member of staff in front of house. But the restaurant was about half to two-thirds full when I visited and they were just about coping. One negative point is that the table water was not free, as I've experienced in other restaurants around France, so was stung with an extra €4 when the bill arrived, which I had not been expecting. Table for 2 people, arrived at 12:38 p.m., served at 1:28 p.m. Forgot the drink order, forgot the bread with the dishes. Fortunately we had the daily specials...a special order would never have been honored!!! Correct food. Kitchen management is non-existent. Only one person on duty was friendly, and fortunately she was present. We will not come back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
