Best poke place in Ventura County, hands down. The fish is always fresh and they never skimp out on the portions like other poke places i’ve been to. The prices are also very reasonable and they even give out free miso soup which is amazing. I love this place so much, please go support them next time you’re craving poke! Stopped by Poké Oahu in Simi Valley for something quick, and overall it was a really good experience. It’s not a full sit-down sushi restaurant, but for a fast poke bowl fix it definitely hits the spot. My bowl was fresh and tasty, loaded with good avocado, a nice assortment of veggies, and flavorful sesame and mayo sauces that brought everything together really well. The place was quiet, the staff was friendly, and everything looked clean. The fish also looked fresh, which is always important. The only small drawback is that the front windows could use a good cleaning, especially since there’s a nice view to look out at while you’re there. Other than that, it’s a solid spot for a quick, satisfying meal, and I’d come back again. This place rocks — Local Love Approved.
