I ate an avocado salmon burger with seasoned fries and the sauce on the side. It was only $17 The avocado was delicious the salmon was pink and not overdone. I ate it all pretty quickly and only took a couple fries home to finish them off. I believe the bun was a potatoe bun. The fries had sea salt on them. The avocado was fresh thankfully. The facilities are a fixer upper but the waitress Savannah did a good job. Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Savannah, our server, was great. Otherwise service was slow, with food taking quite a while to be prepared. Saying that, the food was wonderful. My husband had the Train Wreck with fries, and both were served hot and tasted very good. He plans to order it agin. I had the Greek salad with salmon. The greens were fresh and not limp, and the salmon was cooked well. Both of us were satisfied with our choices. This was our first visit and we plan to return when we're back in that area. Thanks for a good experience. Price per person: $10–20

After a long day out with family from Florida, we finally got a chance to get some dinner, and since most places were closing, we chose The Polliwogs. We walked in just after 9pm and the music was blaring. We figured we would get a table behind the speakers, but it was still quite loud and this was when we realized this was mostly a bar. The server was quick to wait on us and was so nice, so we decided to stay. The music was quite vulgar and when my husband asked our server if she could turn the music down some, she paused and when she heard the lyrics she gasped and exclaimed, “Oh no!” Not long after that the music stopped and we heard pop music playing in the background (“underneath the loud music “) no where near as loud. Not long after that our food arrived, and it was simply yummy! My daughter absolutely loved her shrimp scampi and my salmon and avocado sandwich was spot on! My in-laws sweet potato fries seemed burnt and the server apologized and put another order in for more and a man came from the kitchen with perfectly cooked fries apologizing for the first order. Excellent quality of food and it’s apparent a lot of thought and care goes into the food. Our server was wonderfully gracious and on top of her game. We will be back again (most likely during lunch hours). Thank you for being so hospitable!
