Great selection of desserts with a wide variety of tiramisu flavours and gelato to choose from. Conveniently located in a central location, it is the perfect sweet treat for your exploration around the Vatican area. The classic tiramisu was great with the layers of decadent mascarpone and soft lady fingers. Would highly recommend this place.

I’ve been trying Tiramisu in every dessert shop and it always turns out different. Luckily I met a local who said this place is very popular for its Tiramisu and she was right! Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo before eating it :P 6 euros each, take the classic first

What. Was that. We ordered a tiramisu, drinks, and wanted to try the Mont-Blanc. I had just ONE bite and could tell it was not fresh at all. As any sane customer would do, I kindly went back into the shop to tell the waitress at the counter that the pastry was bad and needed to be changed. We did not even mean to have a refund (although, 8€ in Rome for a small bad pastry is outrageous), simply to have it changed for something else if possible. The woman took, a SPOONFUL, ate it and said « it’s fine, it’s just not your taste, you just don’t know what Mont Blanc is ». Oh boy. I come from the city of pastries, let me tell you I DO KNOW what a Mont-Blanc, or any cream-filled, chestnut delicacy’s supposed to taste like. So my friend comes, tells her she actually had a MontBlanc at another Pompi location and it was then perfectly fine, and the woman pushes the plate back and coldly says « if you don’t like it, it’s not our fault ». What is this ?? It’s not as though it’s our first time in the city or at this shop. What a blatantly rude behavior. She wouldn’t say her name, and her colleagues didn’t speak up, but we certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone to be served by her.
