We came to Porterhouse for the first time on Father's Day and we will absolutely be back. The food was divine, and the jumbo asparagus with the most perfect bernaise sauce is worth coming for alone. I cannot emphasize enough how exceptional the food and service was. Expensive? Yes. But absolutely worth it and truly beats any steakhouse in the area and I would come here before Mastro's, STK, or any other steakhouse in Los Angeles. Price per person: $80–90

We visited Porterhouse while in LA for the weekend to see a concert. We are so glad we did! We were greeted with a smile by the hostess and promptly seated in a nice booth. Our waiter arrived moments later to kindly greet us. We looked over the drink menus and he took our orders. They cocktails came and they were amazing. We ordered the Caesar salads for an appetizer and they were some of the freshest we have ver had. The dressing was fresh and unique, making it better than most we have ever had. On to dinner, one filet and one New York. Both came out a little under cooked, but after letting them rest for a few minutes, all was great. The mashed potatoes are a 100% yes when choosing a side, they were incredible. We went with the chocolate peanut butter dessert and the cookie bar, both were fresh and a perfect end to the meal. The staff is amazing, from the hostess to all wait staff. They made a dinner into a special evening.
