I have been visiting Prato for years every time I am in Brașov, and it never fails to impress me. The warm smiles from the staff and the consistently outstanding dishes keep me coming back. I always opt for fish and seafood, which are always fresh and delicious. Additionally, the chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry dessert is something I wholeheartedly recommend – it’s simply divine. The restaurant is easy to get to, and the entire staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive. Prato is a must-visit for anyone in Brașov looking for an exceptional dining experience. Good seafood. We took some seafood pasta, fritto misto and grigliata di mare. Everything was ok, except the mussels that had a weird taste. As a customer, I was deeply disappointed by my recent visit to Restaurant Prato in Brasov. This experience was far from meeting my expectations and I think it is important to share this story to draw attention to the problems reported. Firstly, I was unpleasantly surprised by the prolonged waiting time between the appetizer and the main course. The staff seemed undersized and consequently the service was extremely slow. Even when our order was placed, we had to wait quite a while to get our food. This delay had a negative impact on our overall experience. The food itself was another major disappointment. Although the menu looked promising, the dishes were tasteless. I ordered a plate of salami and cheeses (not worth the price) and... tasteless meat, of course not worth the price, the pasta that I only tasted and left on the plate (no one asked why....? The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail were below expectations, leaving me with a feeling of culinary dissatisfaction . Another notable aspect was the unfavorable ratio between the prices charged and the quality of the food offered. I was willing to pay for a quality dining experience, but the prices didn't seem to reflect the true value of the dishes. It is unfortunate that we paid considerable sums for food that failed to impress in terms of taste. In conclusion, this experience at the Prato restaurant was disappointing on multiple levels. I hope this review will be taken into account to improve services and ensure that other customers do not experience the same problems in the future.
