Great restaurant in Downtown Raleigh. The food was amazing especially the special appetizer. It was a pierogi dish with basil oil. I'm not doing it justice, but it was great. We loved the atmosphere and our server was excellent. My wife and I brought our 1 year old with us thinking that they would be a little more kid friendly. The kid's brunch menu was misleading in this regard. They did not have a changing table in the bathroom, but our server was kind enough to get a tray stand for us that was big enough to hold our kid when he needed that inevitable diaper change. That said we went early and the servers were more than accommodating. Our child loved the food as much as we did, but we had to beat a hasty retreat once he achieve max boredom. It was quiet so his attempts at talking probably got us a few stank eyes. That's the life of a parent though.

We've been to Provenance three times, once for brunch and twice for dinner. The food was delicious and the staff couldn't be friendlier. We took friends the second time and they loved it. I hope it is a success because it is a unique restaurant with great food.
