The Coffee Day is my favorite. However, the employee who is black African at 8:30 AM on Friday morning seemed a bit grumpy. On the other hand, the Filipino staff were very friendly and amazing. It would be great to see more smiles in the morning. Cheers Mr. Owner. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

It is a lovely Sunday morning. I am looking forward to yet another destination on my food journey. Come, let's explore, as most of my visits are unplanned and on the go, it is exciting Good morning Riyadh, as I navigate the roads and on the lookout for a coffee shop, I arrive at 6:15 AM, at Queen Anne Roastery. A quick chat with the staff, I get permission to take pictures and videos for the review. I am in awe of this beautiful roatery. The design is modern, elegant, and has lots of natural light ️ the team at Queen Anne is a trio, Mr. Stone, Mr. Jhun, and Mr. Ron (awesome threesome!). The team is busy serving a beeline of customers. I wait for Mr. Stone to have a free moment, he works up a cup of freshly brewed espresso made with coffee beans from Costa Rica Mr. Stone is from Uganda with over 11 years of experience as a barista, and his coffee brewing skills are immaculate. The espresso has a brown-sugary sweetness, citrusy notes, and apricot-like fruity flavors with a medium roast. One of the best I have had, my rating is 10 out of 10. I checked with Mr. Stone ro recommend a nice dessert to compliment the espresso. The rocky road is a delight, something unique and different, with nice texture and taste. My rating is 8.5 out of 10. Next up, I am with Mr. Ron, an expert barista from the Philippines and today he will be brewing a drip coffee, my favorite V60 made from Ethiopia coffee beans with a fruity profile. My rating is 10 out of 10. My selection of sweet & salty crunchy chocolate and a savory Feta honey croissant are an ideal pairing with the V60. My rating is 8 out of 10 for crunchy chocolate it is decadent, has a nice crucnch, and 9 out of 10 for the feta honey croissant. It is small and packs a great punch with flavors bursting on my palate. The feata cheese inside the croissant dough is super fresh, has a nice soft texture, and is well balanced in taste.
