Enjoy good Italian tiramisu, lemon pie and fruitcake that are served at Roma. Delicious house wine, limoncello or orange wine will make your meal even more delicious and you'll surely come back. Roma Houston exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the entire waitstaff team made us feel welcome and took great care of us throughout the evening. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, including the lasagna, Alfredo Cacio e Pepe, squid ink pasta, Bolognese, and ravioli—and every single plate was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the flavors were rich and authentic, and you could tell everything was made with care. The lasagna was especially comforting, and the squid ink pasta was a standout. The cocktails were just as impressive. We enjoyed Aperol Spritzes, Old Fashioneds, and Italian Margaritas, and they were all expertly made. The food was superb, the service was exceptional, and everyone in our group had a fantastic time. If you're looking for delicious homemade Italian food and a great dining experience in Houston, Roma is absolutely worth a visit. We can't wait to come back! This restaurant is in an unbeatable location in the River Oaks area and has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Houston. It's a relatively small place, with around 14 tables inside, which gives it a very cozy and intimate atmosphere. They also have an outdoor patio with additional seating, making it a great option when the weather is nice. Another great convenience is that they offer valet parking, making the visit even more enjoyable. I visited on a Saturday without a reservation, and even though it was busy, they were still able to accommodate us, which was a pleasant surprise. From the moment we sat down, the service was warm and welcoming. The menu offers a great selection of pastas and other Italian dishes. We ordered the **Spaghetti al Nero** and the **Trenette al Pesto**, and both were outstanding. A special mention also goes to the grilled chicken, which was cooked perfectly and complemented the meal beautifully. As a nice touch, they bring complimentary bread with olive oil to the table before your meal, which is always appreciated. They also make their own house limoncello, and it's definitely worth trying to finish off the dining experience. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the dining experience. They never make you feel rushed. You're given plenty of time to enjoy your meal, have a conversation, and when you're finished, they bring the dessert menu without trying to clear the table immediately or hurry you out. That level of hospitality is becoming harder to find and made the experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, I consider this one of the best restaurants in Houston. Excellent food, exceptional service, a warm atmosphere, and an experience that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommended.
