Even in central/non-tourist parts of Mexico it’s difficult to find goat dishes, typically only served on Sundays, and quality is hit or miss because goat isn’t the easiest to prepare properly. But this place, in of all places - Cary, NC - serves it daily and it’s as good as my all-time favorite place in MX, which was way off the beaten path. Having my favorite dish of all time was once only had when I got lucky and now I can have it any time I want. On the days I miss living in MX, I go here and have REAL authentic Mexican dishes and a michelada. If you love Mexican food, this is one of the rare, truly authentic places I’ve found in the US. This is a truly authentic Mexican restaurant and a great find. The flavors feel genuine, not watered down, and you can tell the dishes are made with care and attention to traditional recipes. The portions are generous, so you definitely get good value for what you pay, and everything we tried tasted fresh and well prepared. I had the shrimp ceviche, and it was excellent—very fresh, well balanced, and full of flavor without being overpowering. The overall experience was very positive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Placed a large order here $350+ for Tacos for a Sherwin Williams Lunch and Learn event. We have bought tacos from many different places for this event but Rancho Grande was amazing. They had everything ready seconds before I got there! On top of that they had one of their employees load up the car for me and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. The tacos themselves were excellent and our customers and contractors were THRILLED! One of the best catering orders we’ve done so far all thanks to Taqueria Rancho Grande. If you guys ever need large orders like that, this place can actually fulfill these order! Muchísimas Gracias!!!
