The Spicy Nashville chicken sandwich at Real Burger Birkenhead is the real deal. Properly crispy, juicy chicken with a genuine kick of heat, balanced perfectly in a soft fresh bun. The chips on the side were crispy and well seasoned too. Friendly, quick service and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere rounded it off nicely. Some of the best fried chicken on the North Shore. What we thought was already amazing place to go to they have further improved their items on the menu, their daily in-house baked buns with crispy smashed NZ beef Pattie burgers really do live up to their name of REAL BURGER Can I mention the staff? Awesome energy, Professional, welcoming, the team which was on was like a well oiled machine working in sync As we were eating we heard endless compliments from the devouring crowd around us It was so nice to see a place with such passion always looking for ways to improve and not just settling with "this will do" I very rarely leave reviews and raves but I believe they really deserve it - keep it up we will be back soon Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I can't recommend this place enough!! Absolutely perfect smash burgers. One of the few places to offer an Oklahoma Smash Burger. It was around $20 for the double and worth every cent. The guys here are friendly and take pride in what they do. They were even happy to add extra onions for me at no extra charge. Thanks guys, i will be back in every time i visit my dad in Birkenhead.
