Ngl kinda disappointed. I frequent many speakeasies and this isn’t the experience I would really hope for. - the service took a long time despite being rather slow. 8 pm on a Thursday. - they were out of 3 of the drinks I asked for. Which was odd because sure the layered drink has a few components. But the Brandy crusta? - the auto gratuity on the cigars and drinks was unexpected. Normally I prefer to leave cash tips around 20-25% for the convenience of the servers - they were also out of the house cigars which is a shame because I heard they were really good - the music was very loud more like a night club than a prohibition experience - my cocktail had no garnish at all, which isn’t what you would expect from a place that advertises their mixology. I’ve had a last word at many other establishments and this was the most lackluster - the server also seemed angry and put upon that we ordered drinks they were out of. As if we could possibly know they were out. Like I promise you we aren’t just ordering them to bug you. - the cigar payment being separate from the drinks was also kind of a drag. Like I don’t enjoy having 2 different tabs for one visit. There has to be a way to streamline this. Overall the presentation before going seemed very promising, yet underperformed compared to even your average bar. The concept on paper seems like a blast, but I would highly discourage paying this location a visit. If you are looking for a speakeasy experience I would suggest looking elsewhere. I loved this place as a fellow bartender from another city! Stumbled upon a Google suggestion and so glad we ended up here. Britney is a literal ball of sunshine with hints of realness. The ambience is impeccable, Josh at the door setting the tone and then Brit to intoxicate and feed us!!! Also cheesecake and whiskey sour are to die for!!! If you visit please be kind and tip generously they deserve every bit. Not in ATL often but will be back. This is the kind of place that makes you want to sit and have a drink with the staff. I loved the craft cocktails, which truly made it feel like the best cocktail bar in Atlanta, and the cigar lounge added an extra level of enjoyment. The space felt luxurious yet relaxed, perfect for a private event in downtown Atlanta. Every detail, from the comfortable seating to the attentive service, exceeded my expectations and made it a top spot for downtown Atlanta nightlife.
