A lovely bar with a good selection of traditional food, the vegetarian tigelle blew me away, really excellent. I've yet to find anywhere in Trieste that serves cask beer but there is a really interesting selection of kegs on offer here. The session IPA was nice and light but full flavoured and the stout very smooth and chocolatey. The staff were very friendly and I really enjoyed my visit.

I recently discovered this gem in Trieste! First of all, the staff are super nice, friendly and welcoming! They serve a variety of craft beers so do yourself a favor and try them, the staff will be more than happy to help you decide! The food is excellent, typical of the Emilia region. We 've been two times already, tried the different tigelle, cold cuts, erbazzone, gnocco fritto, chiozze and everything was delicious! This place has certainly a cozy pub-vibe. At the same time it is a nice change to find a place that serves something different than the typical pub food (e.g burger and fries). Don't get me wrong, this is nice too and there are many places that do this excellently in the city, but I think these guys have found the way to reinvent the pub setting in a way that works perfectly (at least for me!) A final thing to highlight is that if you enjoy listening to some metal music, you have found a place to call home in Trieste... In Flames we trust! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
