Came here based on the high rating and large number of reviews, but the experience didn't match the reputation. The penne pasta was well past al dente — actually quite hard — and the cheese was barely detectable, almost flavorless. We hardly tasted anything from it. The pizza (Barbacoa) had the minced beef dumped in clumps on top instead of being properly spread and baked into the pizza, and the onions were still raw and crunchy. I won't say it was flavorless, but it wasn't enjoyable either — I ate it because I was hungry. The overall impression: the place tries to look polished, but it really isn't. They use decent-looking glassware, almost as if imitating a fine-dining setup, but the tables themselves feel like a low-end "esnaf lokantası" (cheap diner), and the table coverings look like the wrapping material florists use around flowers. Coming from Turkey, the lack of attention to detail is obvious. My theory is the high rating reflects a lack of real Italian competition in Valencia rather than the quality of the food. It could be so much better. 3/10 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
