I can't review the food, but drinks are way overpriced and DO NOT COME HERE FOR SHOWS. We went to an EDM show on a Saturday night and it was an awful experience. They are incredibly disorganized. See my list below: 1. The show started over an hour late 2. Tickets were $20 and many people didn't pay but we just so happened to be asked by a man who didn't actually work at Riptide? (find out more about this later) SO We had to pay this random woman 3. Bartenders are rude and spent more time hanging out with patrons than actually behind the bar 4. There was security guard there who looked like he was going to Iraq -- he had a balaclava, a handgun, and a large knife. In fells point. 5. They had a paid cameraman who was snapping brightly lit video and pictures of the 8 people who actually showed up ALL NIGHT 6. We turn around at one point to see the iraqi freedom security guard putting the guy who asked us to pay for the show in a HEADLOCK and DRAGGING him downstairs 7. the owner/manager then came upstairs, interrupted the performance and said to make sure there was no substance use(so I guess the guy they had making people pay was selling/using?) 8. within 30 seconds of the manager saying that, Iraqi Freedom came upstairs SCREAMING that everyone needed to leave because his wife was roofied at riptide the week before and so he was pissed there was substance use happening..... and so we didn't even get to see the headliner who came all the way up from Tennessee. I will say the bathroom was surprisingly clean, which was the best part of my evening. Meal type: Other Price per person: $30–50 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
