We go to "Italia" regularly and we always try out other restaurants - in Germany and Italy - but nothing comes close to "Italia". You feel like you're coming home - everyone is nice, but no one comes rushing towards you with a smile on their faces, you belong there. This is not a fancy shop for the newly rich or a station bar for pizza after exercise. There is a solid basic offering of authentically prepared Italian classics and a table with seasonal Italian dishes. You'll even be asked whether you want the carbonara "German" or "Italian". ;) Of course, as in every restaurant, there are one or two dishes that don't suit your taste - but everything here is prepared to perfection. There has never been any reason to complain or even return it - on the contrary. It was always delicious and there was something for everyone. The connoisseur knows that it can get crowded here at peak times, so he reserves a spot and has time. Grumpy passers-by can be unpleasant, and unfortunately their manners often leave something to be desired - but thank God they are in the minority. Thankfully, despite all their hard work, the excellent staff don't upset anyone - there's always time for a little friendly exchange or a joke with the children. We always go to the restaurant with pleasant company, have a starter together and then the main course is always on the table in perfect time. You always see the same faces from the other guests - the nice ones; ). At Iltaia, a feel-good experience is guaranteed for us - you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the forest and lake and treat yourself to a break a la dolce vita. On that note - goodbye to Italia!
