Gelateria Maximo is pretty near Monumento a Giuseppe Mazzini. A lot of visitors point out that waiters offer nicely cooked gelato here. It's nice to order delicious cordial. Clients don't like coffee at this cafe.
The patient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Guests say that the service is terrific here. You will appreciate good prices. There is lovely atmosphere at Gelateria Maximo, as people find it. Google users are quite generous with this place: it was granted 4.6 stars.

Personally I liked both the pistachio and hazelnut ice cream from this place it was pretty good and I like that you can get two flavors with the small! What I don’t think is nice and this is a direct message to the owner is your one sample policy. You have so many great options and how can I know which one to get if I an only try just one. I’m not saying that you let a customer try 10 samples but at the max two samples so we can guage the flavors especially some of the unique ones like ricotta cheese and figs.

They were ok. but portions very small, we stayed for a while to rest, come to find out that tourists were served small portions while locals regular generous portions. Interesting…learning experience. Never again.

I stayed in Rome for three days and came to Gelateria Maximo every single day – that’s how good it was. I was on a two-week trip through Italy and tried gelato in many places, but nothing compared to this. Pistachio and stracciatella were my personal favorites. The staff is friendly, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is cozy. Without a doubt, the best gelateria in Italy for me!
