Overall the food is good. Not exceptionally salty or flavoursome, but nicely cooked and yummy still. My issue is, these meals used to cost around $25? How come over the last few years, a large now costs $35??? I havent seen any changes made to the shop itself or any renovations or updates. Half the meal is vegetables for goodness sakes. Even worse when ordering via uber eats - cost of 1 meal is now $48. I'm so sorry but in this economy - even if I was to walk in - paying over $30 for a meal that's half vegetables is actually insane. I haven't purchased from here in a year and neither have the rest of my extended family since cost increase. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Bree, the regular size meal is $ 21.95 and lge is $24.95. Not sure what Uber charges you but we only get paid what the meal costs in-store any additional charges you need to take up with them .

Ive just read these reviews and thought I would add my two cents, as people tend speak louder when disappointed.. Ive been going to Roast Express for a while, and have never had anything less than an excellent experience. The meal has always been juicy and perfect. Enough food to get 2 rounds. Usually takes under 10 minutes, sometimes a little longer at peak meal times, which is to be expected. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Keep doing what you are doing!
