No Sunday roast despite it still showing as available on their website, smaller than expected meals, staff trying to be helpful, generally disappointing. Stayed at this pub as a BritStop but carpark very small, only just okay for our 6m campervan, wouldn't recommend the place for anything larger. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Great pub with weekly bands and events like the fortnightly bingo. Front patio which is a well maintained and bit of sun trap in the day. Fenced garden at the rear with a kids play area suitable for toddlers around a train and a slide and climbing frame. Live sport and pool table and wonderful staff. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We found the Royal Oak Inn a most friendly feeling and pleasant atmosphere. The meals we had was tasty and very well presented. Here the chef caters for many of dietary requirements with separate prep areas. Gluten free options are available which is of great interest to us!
I would recommend this inn for the feeling of warmth and welcome
