The staff was extremely accommodating—they even let us in after the restaurant had officially closed. Great service, atmosphere, and food. The owners are actually Ukrainian.. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40

I had lunch at Russian Tea Time Restaurant during my visit to Chicago, and it was one of the most unique dining experiences of my trip. The restaurant has a charming, elegant atmosphere with beautiful décor that creates a warm and relaxing setting. I ordered the beef stroganoff along with a traditional afternoon tea service, and everything was excellent. The stroganoff was rich, tender, and full of comforting flavors, while the assortment of teas and pastries made for a memorable finish to the meal. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted freshly prepared. The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and took the time to explain the menu and recommend a few traditional specialties, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One tip: if it's your first visit, don't miss the afternoon tea service—it's a great way to experience the restaurant's unique charm. Making a reservation is also a good idea during weekends. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Russian Tea Time Restaurant. Thank you to the entire team for the outstanding food, warm hospitality, and unforgettable atmosphere.
