My wife and I visited Rusty Moose for the first time with friends and had an excellent experience. The restaurant has a rustic, lodge-inspired interior that complements its American steakhouse and wild-game menu, and the dining area was very clean and comfortable. Service was attentive throughout the visit without feeling intrusive. My wife ordered the Prime Rib Dip, which was well prepared and generously portioned. I ordered the bison burger medium rare, and it was exceptional, one of the best burgers I’ve had. The bison was flavorful and cooked exactly as requested. I also had a side Caesar salad, which was fresh and well prepared. For dessert, we shared cheesecake. It was especially enjoyable because it had a lighter texture and wasn’t excessively rich or overly sweet. We were at the restaurant for approximately two hours visiting with friends, and even after we finished eating, the staff continued to check on our table and offer assistance. We never felt pressured to leave or rushed through the meal. The combination of food quality, cleanliness, comfortable atmosphere, and consistently attentive service made this a very enjoyable first visit.
