Because of exhaustion from long days in the sun, I decided to try Salt Marina Food truck, located west of the Esso station in Cabarete. Their specialty is arepas which are made with a corn pancake that is split and filled with savoury meats, vegetables and cheese. I ordered the beef with cheese and the chicken with avocado. I only ate the beef, slathered in their fabulous homemade pepper sauce. It was piping hot when I got home, delicious and clearly made with love. Shout out to Salt Marina and I urge you to go try them!
