We stumbled into Semilla on our first day in Paris after noticing they had just opened and still had a table available. We followed the waiter’s recommendations (assorted mushrooms, artichoke raviolis, and sea bass) and it ended up being the best meal we had in Paris. Every dish felt balanced and refined without trying too hard. The mushrooms were deeply flavorful, the ravioli was delicate and rich at the same time, and the sea bass was perfectly cooked. Service was confident and relaxed. Nothing was planned, expectations were moderate, and everything exceeded them. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €40–50
