This restaurant and Chugenji Temple can be both really attractive for tourists. The menu of Japanese cuisine provides authentic meals at Senryu. Come here for nicely cooked tempura if you are hungry.
Most visitors state that the staff is competent. The cool service is a big advantage of this place. Michelin inspectors have visited this spot, so it has got the Michelin selection award.

We have tried many tempura restaurants in Kyoto and so far I found this place has the best tempura!! We are pescatarian and the Chef is accommodating us with seafood and fresh seasonal vegetables. Nice sake selection. Chef and staff are friendly. Highly recommended. Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Variety of fresh vegetables, Chef is accommodating my pescatarian diet.
