Tomikyu in Kyoto delivered an extraordinary and holistic dining experience that went far beyond just exceptional food. We savoured the divine Fugu A Course (Natural) and Hamoshabu Matsu courses. The fugu impressed me with its delicate sweetness, refined flavour, and particularly memorable firm, slightly chewy sashimi. The hamo was equally delightful, boasting a tender and fluffy texture. The freshness and flavour of the ingredients were matched by artistic presentation. However, the experience extended far beyond just the food. The service we received was truly impeccable – attentive, gracious, and anticipating our every need. Tomikyu provided a complete and unforgettable experience, allowing us to fully appreciate the nuanced characteristics of the fugu and hamo. Without a doubt, this was our best dining experience.
