Korean cuisine provides authentic meals at this restaurant. Many guests of Seoul Banchan state that good kimchi is served here. But a number of Zomato users didn't give this place a high score.

Dine Time: weekday dinner
The Korean Wave is slowly making its way into Springvale, which it should have a long time ago.
Seoul Boonsik (street food) & Banchan (side dishes) offer a very casual but tasty dining experience.
They sell common side dishes in the fridge - a little hit of salted squid is especially good with rice, the flavours balance out. Similarly, the pickled perilla leaves have a really unique earthy, herby flavour mixed with the chilli garlic soy marinade.
There are a range of common street food style dishes as well - spicy rice cakes, dumplings, etc.
The hot stone bibimbap comes with a sunny side up egg and the yolk is still runny (awesome). The stone pot is indeed hot, and you get enough chilli sauce to mix everything through, letting the bottom part crisp up. They also give you a small selection of sides - the kimchi has a good spicy vinegary hit, and the pickled radish cuts through the hot rice. Also, the miso soup has great body to it.
Great that they open till 9pm, not many restaurants around here do. It's a small family affair and I wish them the best, I'll be back for the beef rib soup!
