Lovely staff and the food is amazing! We travelled up from the midlands to trade at chatsworth country fair , we stumbled upon this little gem ..The Restaurant was very busy but the lovely staff found us a table for 2 as we hadn’t booked , The food was amazing we had a chicken madras , chicken vindaloo , rices, Nan bread and Bombay aloo we couldn’t fault it and bare in mind we have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the country …staff couldn’t of been more helpful ,polite and service with a smile we will defo be visiting again

We had a variety of different dishes in our takeaway, all cooked to perfection. A wonderful experience all round. The service was excellent too. The two gentlemen I spoke to while they finished preparing some fresh naan bread were friendly chaps making our experience at The Shalimar a great one! I've been visiting my parents who have recently moved into the area and I'm sure The Shalimar is going to be a regular fixture in their new life in the Peaks!
