We had our first food here on Saturday afternoon. It was very busy and wait times were about 10-15 minutes but it was well worth the wait. Hand made sourdough toasted, sandwiches and salads along with coffee and other beverages. Food was excellent and service friendly despite it being so busy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

What a little gem in the heart of Reading! I loved my visit to Shed. From the moment you walk in, the place has so much character, rustic wooden beams, exposed brickwork and a warm, relaxed atmosphere that feels completely different from the city outside. I was assisted by Charn, who was very polite, welcoming and made the experience even more enjoyable. Great service always makes a difference. I treated myself to a hot chocolate and a delicious cinnamon roll, found a lovely spot by the window and simply enjoyed the atmosphere. The contrast between this cosy little building and the modern Reading skyline around it makes Shed feel like a hidden treasure. If you’re in Reading and looking for somewhere with personality, good treats and a welcoming atmosphere, definitely pop into Shed. Highly recommended — I’ll happily visit again!
