It's a pleasant experience to try good friands, bread pudding and sundaes. This place has delicious port wine, beer or negroni among its drinks. Great espresso goes well with the nice meal.

I recently attended a private function at Shepard. Below is a detail of the items served. While not all items were on their regular menu, most of them were. Every item I tasted was excellent! Throughout the event,and after, a number of people commented how good the food was, and at least two commented that it was the best they have ever tasted. The service was equal to the quality of the food. The servers were knowledgeable and attentive. They modified a dish for my aged mother-in-law and for a child. The bartender performed elaborately as he prepared a refreshment for a 4 year old, making her feel special. The experience capped off a wonderful day. Passed appetizers:1. Crispy polenta, caviar, creme fraiche2. Burrata crostini, pepper jelly, fried onion3. Bluefish pate, pickled red onion, arugulaShared Appetizers:1.
