Not only should Asakusa Fujiasama Shrine be visited, but also Shinchan. This restaurant offers you great dishes of Japanese cuisine. Many people come to try perfectly cooked okonomiyaki.

The price seems quite exorbitant for the portion. Our group has 3 adults 2 small kids and we paid almost 13,000 yen. Like 100 grams of beef cost 1,500 yen. 2 small pieces of scallop cost 1,500 yen. One beer 980 yen. The restaurant has a very damp atmosphere and smells bad. When we came around 7pm there wasnt any guest at all and the restaurant next door was full. There was also a small cockroach coming out from underneath the seating area when we started getting on the tatami mat. The cushions were stained and when we asked to sit without the cushion, we were not allowed to do so. The owner was nice and cheerful and helped us cook the food. But when we gracefully questioned about the bill and asked for detailed item because we were shocked by the cost (they only gave us a piece of paper with the total number, no detailed bill), she immediately acted a little furious. We kept calm throughout and only asked very gently but that still made her very uncomfortable. The food was reasonably good. Nothing to rave home about but not bad either The videos here: the pork was 1,080 yen. And the okonomiyaki is small, felt like 1 serving with mostly vegies and 1 egg, costs about 900 yen Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
