Exceptional sushi and service! Stefano was incredible. We had some dietary restrictions and he was very helpful. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I gave Shiroya a chance despite reading the negative reviews, but unfortunately, my experience confirmed several of the concerns. The rest of the staff were fine, but one staff member’s service was arrogant and inattentive, showing a surprising lack of basic courtesy and respect, which alone made the visit frustrating. I recommend reading the most recent negative reviews to understand the recurring issues. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and acceptable, but if you’ve dined in Japan or at high-quality Japanese restaurants in Asia, they may feel mediocre. Given that Shiroya is mentioned in the Michelin Guide (though without stars), expectations are naturally higher. The photos included give experienced diners a sense of the approach to Japanese cuisine here. The spicy ramen and desserts leaned more toward a Korean-style adaptation, as others have noted. I appreciate that the restaurant may adapt its dishes to Italian tastes, which can make it more approachable for local diners. Overall, the food is decent, but the combination of unaddressed service issues and dishes that fall short of Michelin expectations makes it difficult to recommend. While the food alone might warrant a higher rating, the poor service justifies a one-star review. I hope this feedback encourages the owner to address these concerns so that future diners can have a proper experience. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €50–60
