The food here is genuinely great — that part has never disappointed us. The one drawback is the wait, which can get long depending on when you come. We've had visits where we were seated right away and others where we stood around a while. Worth it for the food, but I'd plan around peak times or go early if you can. Four stars, and we keep coming back. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

5/5 I recently visited Shumi Japanese Cuisine and tried their Teriyaki Salmon and Spicy Salmon Roll, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! The Teriyaki Salmon was perfectly cooked — tender on the inside with a slightly crisp, flavorful glaze that had the right balance of sweetness and savoriness. The portion size was generous, and it came with fresh vegetables that complemented the dish beautifully. The Spicy Salmon Roll was just as impressive. The salmon was fresh and buttery, with a nice kick of spice that enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. The rice was perfectly seasoned and held together well, showing real attention to detail. The presentation was clean and elegant, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, Shumi Japanese Cuisine delivers authentic Japanese flavors with high-quality ingredients and great service. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in town — I’ll be coming back soon!
